This hurts (because OMG OW BLOOD AND BONE AND EWWW) but it doesn't beacuse there's such a cruelty that seems to paint everything, but there's that little shiny piece of something else in But you don't.
And this, this piece of pretty right here: This close you can hear him giggling, the sound as giddy as champagne bubbles, as the bubbles in his blood as he tries to breathe. Love stuttered through the iron soaked epiphany of his howl as the bone surfaces, red and white and gleaming.
This whole thing is so shiny with the poetry of it all.
