and a happy new year - love you all! :D

Wherein I try and make a list of the various bits of fic I have promised people and create a to do list and talk about non existent fandoms and also bemoan my failure with icons.

I have not written anything in so long. This does not please me. But university has eaten up all my spare time. Woe. D:

I'm thinking, however, that with a little better time management, I can write fic and do serious work and go the gym and pet [livejournal.com profile] unsettledink - like some sort of very, very narrowly defined Renaissance man. New Years resolutions are a GREAT and FOOLPROOF idea, right?

I AM NOT VERY GOOD AT MAKING LISTS )

So I finally got my last bit of University work done - just about - or at least, my last bit done for the time being. Now I can enjoy the advent season without thinking about all that, at least for a little while. (Except not. I shall be attacked my spectres of stress until my final year is done with, of course.)

It was my birthday last Friday. Usually I spend my birthday hanging around in bell towers or lurking in sewers or skulking in caverns. This year by some sort of unlikely miracle, I got to spend it with actual, living, breathing, human people. With me of their own free will (more or less *cough*) and not only that, but wonderful people. [livejournal.com profile] unsettledink, [livejournal.com profile] scrapbullet and [livejournal.com profile] the_me09 :D

Actually the real celebration of the 16th was that it was the premier of Sherlock Holmes: A GAME OF GODDAMN SHADOWS.

My thoughts let me share them with you. I am not promising coherence. (Now would be a good time to back away slowly)

So I'm staying with my aunt and uncle and my two wonderful cousins, Dorothy (11) and Isabella (9) and after I got invited into Isabella's room to play blackjack I was treated to an amazing guided tour of all her various Doctor Who toys and posters.

I decided to ask them some questions about the show. We ended up talking about Sherlock as well and I was having trouble breathing by the end of it.

OH MEME. I AM AN OPEN BOOK. SILLY MEME.

"The problem with LiveJournal, Dreamwidth, and blogs in general: we all think we are so close, but really, we know nothing about each other. So, I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that perhaps should be obvious (or not), but you have no idea about. Ask away!"

So it is not very likely, but if anyone has any questions no matter how banal or shockingly inappropriate, ask and I will tell you, all truth all the time, bretheren.

Fandom: Sherlock Holmes 2009
Pairing: Blackwood/Coward
Rating: PG-13
Disclaimer: Not mine, just playing.
Summary: The beginnings of a special relationship.

This is a collection of my Blackwood/Coward 100 word drabbles from the incomparable [livejournal.com profile] unsettledink's wonderful drabble-rousing post here.

The majority of these are stand alone, some have a little continuity between them. I've tried to arrange them by how explicit the subject matter is (from least to most) but as a GENERAL WARNING - there are mature themes throughout, including dubcon, d/s, gore, etc.

I would avoid reading all the way to the end of the list if you're squeamish at all.

So I was catching up on some comics when all of a sudden I was STRUCK MIGHTILY DOWN by the overwhelming amount of adorable going on between Tony and Rhodey in these two pages:

Notes: Dedicated to [livejournal.com profile] scrapbullet, who I promised fic to an age ago but let myself be defeated by writer's block. This is very much inspired by her own wonderful fic, her enthusiasm for these movies and a certain program in particular. I hope it was worth the wait, lamb!

Notes: Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] unsettledink  for taking a look at this for me, remaining mistakes are all my own. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] the_me09  for replenishing my fannish enthusiasm when it was running low. (And thanks to all the fellow B/C fans out there too, for being so top notch.)

Yes I am posting with this as my subject even though it's the 20th January. Today is the day I'm heading out back to chop up the Christmas Tree for easier disposal! It's also the day I post about the lovely things people sent me for Christmas and other thoughts on the end of the year!

I love you guys - yes that means YOU )

Surely you're not all sick of this yet? I blame [livejournal.com profile] scrapbullet , she has ways of making you repost.
